What's it about?
It's as intense as it ever was. This time, little bald psychopath Vic has to simultaneously find his absconded wife and children, hunt down a child-raping Mexican gangster who's killing his informers, save a prostitute's life, avoid getting fired for corruption, work out whether a new recruit's a snitch, and steal a truck full of Armenian mob cash. Shit: all we do all day is sleep and take heroin!
Any good?
Great, if you're really into ultra-right wing, ends-justify-the-means, politically incorrect, male power-trip fantasies with loads of drugs, sex, torture and kicking. And if you aren't? Well, Arena's quite gay. Read that.
Look out for:
Vic's 'necklace' interview technique involving a tyre, some petrol and a cigarette lighter. Apparently they nicked the idea off Last Of The Summer Wine.
