WHAT'S IT ABOUT? The late '60s and the Chicago mafia are muscling in on Sydney's casinos. Aussie hoodlum Barry Ryan (Bryan Brown) isn't happy.
ANY GOOD? An unusual gangster flick with a fine cast, humour and a nicely worked ending. Used sparingly, the film's violence is shocking and realistic.
LOOK OUT FOR: Ryan tricks the mafia men into slaughtering a farmer's pigs. Ugh!
EXTRAS: Commentaries, biogs, outtakes, and loads, loads more.
