What's it about? Steve Coogan resurrects two of his most famous creations - hopeless Mancunian loser Paul ('Bag o'shite') Calf and his shag-happy sister Pauline - for a night of riotous stand-up in Liverpool. Gloriously crap comedian Duncan Thickett (also Coogan) provides additional material as the evening's compere ('If you think that's funny, wait 'til I say something else... that's funnier').
Any good? Funny and filthy, this is Coogan at his offensive best. You'll laugh 'til your head falls off.
Look out for: Pauline's 'one woman show' - an unlikely tribute to Florence Nightingale: 'There's been an outbreak of syphilis amongst the men... I blame myself'.
Extras: An excellent 'making of...' documentary follows Coogan (soon to appear in Around The World In 80 Days with Jackie Chan) as he writes, rehearses and tries out his new material in pubs and clubs. Paul Calf's earliest appearances as a character on early '90s 'alternative comedy' TV show, Saturday Zoo, are also included.
