What's it about? David Brent (Ricky Gervais) returns. Under the cosh from his boss and derided by the new staff from Swindon, Brent struggles to hang on to his job. His aptitude for self-delusion remains as powerful as ever, though - 'I'm already exploring the entertainment avenue with my management training, but I'd like to do that on a global scale, really.'
Any good? This second helping of life at Wernham Hogg is even better than the first, mainly for two classic scenes - Brent's disatrous attempt at fusing Flashdance and 'some MC Hammer shit' in his Red Nose Day dance and his doomed stint as a motivational speaker ('It's about feeding the soul, yeah? Evolving spirituality.') But laugh-out-loud moments pepper every episode in the most hilarious British sitcom since Fawlty Towers.
Look out for: Gervais' co-writer Stephen Merchant turning up in the Red Nose Day episode as Gareth Keenan's mate 'the Ogg Monster' - or as Brent calls him 'a big, lanky goggle-eyed freak'.
Extras: Thirteen minutes of deleted scenes, the original pilot episode, exclusive outtakes, a 20-minute behind-the-scenes video diary, plus interactive menu and chapter selection.
