Our hallowed The Office gets an American reworking and the results still had us hiding behind the sofa

WHAT'S IT ABOUT? American incarnation of Ricky Gervais' much slurped over show. The Gareth character is puffier, 'Tim' still has a "Fisher Price" mug...

ANY GOOD? Generally a mixed bag, but Steve '40 Year Old Virgin' Carell is the perfect US doppleganger for Gervais' whackable boss.

BEST BITS: The basketball match. Atrocious dribbling skills, 'Gareth's' Hannibal facemask and Steve Carell packing the shooting accuracy of Emile Heskey on a particularly bad day.
