Modern Family Season 2

Still following the Prichett-Dunphy clan, season 2 shows us alot more of all the families in every episode. Incase you've forgotten, we've got the traditional American family, the young hot wife with the old grumpy husband, and the gay couple who have adopted a child of their own.

The creative side of the series is definitely still in its prime, although some jokes can be a bit repetitive, they only really become so under scrutiny. There is a slight dip around the middle of the season, but all in well by the end of the (rather fantastic) season finale.

We were also quite pleased to see more of Sofia Vergara's character Gloria. Mainly because she is insanely hot, but also because she was one of the more under-rated characters of series 1. She steals the show time and time again, and we especially enjoyed watching her cooking!

Many shows, especially comedies, find their second season a struggle. If you were a fan of the first season, you'll be pleased to hear that this isn't the case! The cast still work brilliantly together, with some genuinely funny, burst out laughing moments.

Modern Family - The Complete Second Season is available NOW on DVD and Blu-ray, boasting a number of special features in addition to the 24 episodes; including deleted scene, gag reels, a table read, the 'Imagine Me Naked' music video and Mitch's infamous flash mob.
