"If the Sex Pistols were a movie, they'd be Dobermann!" is what one mag wrote of this awesome French thriller when it stormed cinemas back in '97. Finally re-available on DVD and Blu-ray, it pits Vincent Cassel alongside a deaf-but-deadly Monica Belucci, who orchestrate an ambitious bank heist with the aid of their weirdo chums. The result: half of Paris gets blown up to a pounding techno soundtrack. Packed with crazy characters, including a drag queen, a priest and a pitbull lover, it's a stylish, brutal and silly action-fest, best treated as a 'powdered-up' Italian Job for the video game generation.
