Alien is a masterpiece. Ridley Scott’s greatest film follows the mining ship Nostromo as it answers a bewildering distress call and unwittingly allows a vicious alien on board.
Aliens see Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) as the sole survivor from the Nostromo waking up after drifting through space for 57 years. The Company don’t believe her alien tale – in fact, the alien planetoid is now inhabited by humans. A fight for survival ensues.
Aliens 3: a space penal colony is infiltrated by aliens when Ripley’s ship crashlands.
Alien: Resurrrection – Ripley is brought back to life by mad scientists who want to resurrect the alien that died inside her. A big-up to screenwriter Dan O’Bannon who wrote the first instalment
