Is it just us or is Sarah Connor stepping on the toes of the remorseless organism she’s fighting against? On the press release we’ve just been sent
it says “Sarah Connor is back!” – I mean, [adopts really annoying tone of voice; the insufferably geeky, condescending one people who work in Computer Exchange use] if that’s not aping the enemy then we
really don’t know what is! Get yer own catch phrase yeah...
[Series 1 ends]
Sarah Connor: “I’ll be back!”
Terminator: “Er, Sarah, don’t want to bother you but that’s
my line”
Sarah Connor: [Dismissive] “Who’s this series named after,
eh?”
Terminator: [Submissive] “It’s still my line” [Skulks off
into trailer]
Anyway, nonsense aside, Ms Connor is still on her mission to
bring down the Skynet Artificial Intelligence Network. As anyone with even a
passing interest in movies knows, her son John is mankind’s only hope in the
war against our own unrelenting creations but at 16, he is rebelling against the
reality of his destiny (and spending too much time on facebook and his Xbox) – Sarah
must protect him by taking out Terminators and federal officers every step of
the way.
Motherhood is tough alright and this season Sarah is going
to have to get the metaphorical slipper out if her dipshit offspring is going
to morph into the world-saving hero he needs to be.
We have five copies of this ace DVD to just GIVE AWAY.
However, in order to get your semi-cybernetic mitts on it, we want you to explain how
parallel timelines work in less than 50 words. Naturally then, quantum
physicists will have an advantage, but that’s just tough we’re afraid. Good
luck!
