Five hilarious moments from the second series of Flight Of The Conchords. Kiwi songsmithery rolls on!
Watching New Zealand's CULT TELLY SITCOMFlight Of The Conchords is an interesting experience. Following a Kiwi electro-folk duo as they try to forge a musical career in New York City, it regularly breaks into absurd fantasy songs (e.g. flying through the air singing about 'friends') and delivers jokes so dry, you could use them to sandpaper down wooden shelves.
At times, the show is more like a CBEEBIES ON DRUGS, and while the songs aren't always as funny as those in the original series, Series 2 is, for the most part, still wildly amusing. And in band manager Murray Hewitt they have the funniest (fictional) twit on TV. Check out our FIVE CLIPS below and you'll see what we mean!
