Starring another spin on the most overused horror plotline today (a couple terrorised by bloodthirsty loons in remote places - also see They, Strangers, Storm Warning, Hills Have Eyes, Wolf Creek), Eden Lake is still a big, smothering pillow of raw tension. There are a couple of spectacularly nasty bits, too, made even more spectacularly nasty by the fact the perpetrators are teen hoodies. Yikes!
