Ridley Scott turns his epic directing hat to Goodfellas-style badness with this true story flick of '70s heroin smuggler Frank Lucas. It's insanely gripping viewing too, although Denzil Washington's kingpin seems more 'slightly hard' nice guy than menacing mentalist.
